earlier this week i rode around West Yorkshire, England taking in the countryside.  it was mostly rolling green hills highlighted by lots of sheep, an occasional poppy field and the rugged moors of Wuthering Heights fame.  i thought the place quite beautiful and unspoiled. 

i took this photo of my little friend Blythe atop one of the extensive stone walls that line the area.  it was one of the few days where the rain ceased long enough to take a clear shot or two.  for those of you in America right now, it's a lovely Summer here in northern England -- right now it's breezy and 59 degrees Fahrenheit.  eat your heart out  ;-)
